The Immigrant Learning Center offers free English classes to immigrants and refugees ages 16 and older.
All classes are taught in English with instruction in speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, computer skills, and college and career preparation. We have English Literacy classes for focused instruction in reading and writing.
The ILC is currently holding most classes in-person while maintaining COVID-19 safety practices for the safety of our students, staff and community.
We offer:
- Morning classes, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon classes, Monday through Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
We also offer U.S. citizenship preparation classes. Some of our citizenship classes are offered online.

To Register for Classes
To register for class, please come in person with your COVID-19 vaccine card to The Immigrant Learning Center at: 442 Main Street, Malden, MA.
Our hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
You may bring a translator with you.
