The ILC has also created resources that you can use to study for citizenship while you wait to start classes:

The ILC has created a number of resources to help you prepare for the citizenship exam. We have two study tables: one for the 2025 civics test (128 questions) for those who applied on or after October 20, 2025, and another for the 2008 civics test (100 questions) for those who applied before October 20, 2025.

We’ve also created teaching videos and a study guide to help you understand the N-400 application questions.

For additional resources, explore our Citizenship Practice Test, Interview and Application page.
