Immigrant Entrepreneur Hall of Fame: Retail

From the corner store to nation-wide chains, immigrants have long been an integral part of bringing goods and services to American consumers. Today, they can be seen re-vitalizing neighborhoods in major cities, and they are unseen as the founders of some of the most popular stores in the United States.

Here we honor seven immigrants who founded major retail chains.
