How To Apply
The Immigrant Learning Center offers free English classes to immigrant and refugee adults age 16 and older so they may become productive members of American society. The ILC accepts applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, disability or other eligibility restrictions. Applicants must register at The ILC in person. The ILC guidance counselor conducts an individualized interview, which assesses which class would be most appropriate and places the student on the waitlist for that class. New students are enrolled in the program on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration occurs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Translators are welcomed to accompany registering students.
