Annual Golf Classic

The ILC’s Annual Golf Classic is one of the school’s signature fundraising events. Established in 1999, the Classic brings together sponsors, golfers and other ILC supporters from Fortune 500 companies and small businesses nationwide and in the Greater Boston area. All proceeds provide direct support for ILC programs and student services.

Highlights of 2011 ILC Golf Classic

There never was a more beautiful day than June 6, 2011.  One hundred and twenty-eight golfers enjoyed the brilliant sun and cool breezes on Kernwood Country Club’s fine course followed by a traditional clambake. Over $300,000 was raised for ILC programs, making this one of the most successful tournaments ever.  The ILC is deeply grateful to the law firm of Sullivan & Worcester LLP and Reit Management & Research LLC, the event sponsors, and all sponsors, friends of The ILC and volunteers for making this signature event one to remember.

Low gross winners in Best Ball Division went to Bill Clark, Rich Davey, Bill Sullivan and Brian Golden. The Best Ball Division’s low net winners were Charles Nahatis, Dennis Frolin, Mike Ciccone and Gary Stevens.

The first place winners in the Scramble Division were David Blackman, Jim Collins, Randy Williamson and Chris Kollme.  Runners up in the Scramble Division were Will Corkhill, Cliff Booth, Dan Yamron and Jack Dunphy. Other winners were Larry Christofori, closest to the pin; Jim Collins, longest drive for men; Lauria Brennan, longest drive for women; Jack Dunphy, longest drive for seniors and Will Corkhill, putting contest.

Congratulations to all.
